Vertiq, a leading developer of industrial-grade UAV propulsion modules for high value UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and drones, has partnered with Unmanned Systems Technology (“UST”) to demonstrate their expertise in this field. The ‘Silver’ profile highlights the company’s state-of-the-art motors and electronic speed controllers (ESCs) alongside bespoke custom services to develop tailored propulsion modules and bespoke control firmware to maximize capabilities.
Vertiq’s servo propulsion modules are based around a lightweight, tightly integrated motor and ESC with an embedded position sensor. With position sensing and sophisticated motor calibration and control software, Vertiq modules deliver excellent propulsion efficiency, power output, and motor response, as well as high-precision speed control and propeller positioning capabilities.
Available in 2200KV and 220KV versions the 23-06 servo propulsion module is an ultra-compact, lightweight drone propulsion module that tightly integrates a high-performance 23-06 motor with a 30A, 6S ESC and position sensor.
Featuring best-in-class efficiency, precision speed and position control, industry-leading motor response times, the 23-06 is typically paired with 4-inch to 7-inch propellers and is ideal for commercial and defense Group 1 sUAS applications.
Ideal for commercial and defense Group 2 sUAS applications the 81-08 servo motor controller module is an ultra-compact, lightweight drone propulsion module that tightly integrates a high-performance 81-08 motor with a 60A, 12S ESC and position sensor. The 81-08 delivers industry-leading efficiency and power output, precision speed and propeller position control alongside extremely fast motor response and active braking.
Typically paired with 20-inch to 32-inch propellers the 81-08 is available in 150KV and 85KV versions.
Beta Propulsion Modules
The 23-14 drone motor controller module is an ultra-compact, lightweight drone propulsion module that tightly integrates a high-performance 23-14 motor with a 30A, 6S ESC and position sensor. The module is designed to offer the same industry-leading advantages as the 23-06 module, while outputting more power to spin larger propellers.
The beta unit will be available in 1100KV and is designed to be paired with 7-inch to 10-inch propellers.
An ultra-compact, lightweight drone propulsion unit, the 40-06 servo motor module tightly integrates a high-performance 40-06 motor with a 30A, 6S ESC and position sensor. It is designed to achieve industry-leading efficiency and power output, precision speed and position control, and best-in-class motor response times. It will be ideal for larger Group 1 sUAS applications.
The beta unit will be available in 380KV. The various KV versions Vertiq plans to offer will be designed to be paired with 9-inch to 17-inch propellers.
