Volatus will now be responsible for the distribution of Atmos’ Marlyn Cobalt survey drones in Canada, and will provide assistance and maintenance services to local UAV operators.
Atmos believes that Volatus brings a rich history and experience in aviation operations, safety, compliance, and innovation to the evolving uncrewed aircraft market. Trusted by major brands, Volatus provides integrated solutions for professionals across a wide spectrum of industries.
As global aviation authorities work towards future-proofing regulations and operating ecosystems, Volatus is positioned to be relied upon as a strong, commercial partner for Atmos.
“We have an incredible team pushing the envelope on the entire spectrum of UAV technology,” said Glen Lynch, CEO at Volatus Aerospace. “The Marlyn Cobalt survey drone is an exciting new addition to our product offerings.”
“The experience and the knowledge of the Volatus team is impressive! We look forward to a long-lasting collaboration,” added James McLachlan, Business Developer at Atmos.
Marlyn Cobalt is a fully autonomous hybrid VTOL fixed-wing drone for mapping and surveying applications. With its patented design, Marlyn can take-off vertically from anywhere and map fast and efficiently, producing high quality outputs for professional users. According to Atmos, it is the only drone in its class that is built to perform even in harsh and windy conditions, while its easily swappable payloads provide operators with an unprecedented flexibility.
