AirData UAV has launched a 3D Flight Player that converts drone flight logs into an interactive visual format to support analysis, training, and post-flight review.
The tool recreates missions within a 3D environment with terrain awareness and simulated field of view. Operators can view flights from the drone’s perspective, including camera angle and gimbal position, to better understand how each flight was conducted.
Playback is generated using high-frequency telemetry data, enabling a detailed reconstruction of flight activity. Users can review control stick inputs based on timestamped log data, helping to show how pilot actions correspond to aircraft behavior.
The platform allows users to highlight key metrics such as altitude, speed, battery charge, and signal strength. In addition, the flight path can be configured to display data including altitude relative to takeoff point and ground level, distance from the home point, radio signal strength, number of GPS satellite connections, and terrain type beneath the drone.
Multiple viewing options, including terrain, satellite, and dark mode, enable users to adjust the display to suit different requirements.
By combining visual playback with flight data, the 3D Flight Player provides a clearer view of mission activity to support operational review and training.
