YellowScan’s LiDAR Mapper-series and Surveyor Ultra are now fully compatible with Gremsy’s industry standard mounting system, enabling drone users with a Gremsy standard T3V3 female quick release to lift and power the YellowScan Mapper, Mapper+ or Surveyor Ultra systems without needing prior integration work.
According to YellowScan, this will strengthen YellowScan and Acecore’s partnership by offering ready-to-fly packages between Acecore’s drones and YellowScan’s systems. This product combination allows for seamless integrations with easy mounting and powering of the LiDAR systems onto the drones.
“In collaboration with YellowScan, we developed a male mounting solution to adapt the YellowScan Mapper+ onto Gremsy T3V3 Quick Release system,” said Le Huu Manh, Mechanical Engineer Leader, Gremsy. “With Gremsy’s quick release integration, the Mapper+ can be mounted on various UAVs utilizing Gremsy Damping V3 and Damping plate Pro 2.0. It also allows drone users to swap out between Gremsy’s gimbals (T3V3, T7, S1V3) and YellowScan’s payloads easily and quickly.”
“We want to make LiDAR operations easy for our users so mounting our LiDAR solutions to UAVs has to be fast,” said Tristan Allouis, CTO at YellowScan. “Working with Gremsy to create a ready-to-mount solution was an easy decision as it now only takes a few seconds to mount a system. More and more UAV brands like Acecore can now offer LiDAR/drone ready-to-fly packages.”
