FIXAR has introduced the FIXAR 025, an autonomous fully-electric UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) designed for extended commercial and industrial missions. Carrying up to 10 kg (22 lbs) of payload for distances of up to 300 km (186 mi) on a single charge, the long-endurance drone is highly suited for BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) operations.
The versatile platform can be equipped with a wide array of easily-swappable professional payload modules, allowing operators to use the same aircraft for surveying, aerial imaging, remote sensing, surveillance, real-time monitoring and delivery. The UAV is also equipped with a patented payload safety system to secure the sensors and the BlackBox data backup system.
Key performance features of the FIXAR 025 UAV include:
Reliable Operations: the UAV payload and data is secured with BlackBox and the patented Payload Safety System; autonomous operations with terrain tracking and automated planning ensures safe missions. The aircraft is free of complicated launch mechanisms, allowing it to be set up and operated easily.
Economic Efficiency: the reduced power consumption and aerodynamic design significantly extend flight time and increase payload capacity, allowing users to execute tasks faster and with fewer flights. The aircraft’s weather resistant capacity significantly reduces the possible downtime. The advanced xGroundControl software supports single and up to 10-unit multi drone missions simultaneously, making it ideal for building a drone fleet.
Compatibility: the UAV system is designed to support integration with AI solutions and unmanned air traffic ecosystems anywhere in the world, and is also built to support third-party sensor integration for unlimited customized configurations.
Vasily Lukashov, founder and CEO at FIXAR, commented: “With this model, we intend to answer a lasting market call for the increased flight range, payload capacity, and scope for integration. FIXAR 025 has a full-body lift design – the entire body of the UAV serves as a wing area, eliminating dead weight and increasing flight efficiency and length.”
“The system comes with an API compatible with any unmanned air traffic management ecosystem, regardless of the country of operations. This allows users to easily comply with air traffic authority rules, fulfill safety requirements and start missions at any location in no time.”
