Photogrammetry solution provider Pix4D is celebrating their 10 year anniversary with a new logo – and by paying homage to the original partners and developers behind the platform.
Pix4D was started by a group of researchers from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), a research institute and university in Lausanne, Switzerland. The company “emerged from the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, on June 2nd, 2011. Now, Pix4D is a global brand with 14 products managed by 6 offices across 3 continents,” says a company press release. It isn’t only the staff that has expanded. Pix4D now offers a suite of products for uses including industrial inspection, construction, public safety, and more. They’ve built partnerships and integrations that have made Pix4D a central figure in the drone industry ecosystem.
Pix4D’s 10 year anniversary logo design replaces the original, in use for most of the past 10 years. “This new logo suits the diverse and growing product portfolio, which has expanded from 1 to 14 products,” says a press release. “It was designed in-house by Pix4D’s design team.”
While current CEO Christoph Strecha has been the face of Pix4D’s global organization, the company is celebrating all of the founders. The company will share anecdotes and facts about its history and partners through a social media campaign. Pix4D was founded by a team of 4: Olivier Kueng, Pascal Fua, Vincent Lepetit and the current CEO Christoph Strecha.
Christoph Strecha says “The past 10 years have seen a huge change in the industry, and we can’t wait to be part of innovating and leading the next stages in photogrammetry. Above all, we are grateful to our customers, whose support and feedback has shaped us into the industry leaders we are today.”
The new logo is live on the Pix4D website and with shared resellers. The company is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with social media posts and an upcoming interview feature with Christoph Strecha. Pix4D is a world-leading photogrammetry specialist and will continue to innovate, develop, and explore the potential in measuring from images.
