YellowScan has added a new vertical slicing feature to version 2110.0.0 of its CloudStation Core software. The new tool provides users with the ability to gain a better understanding of their generated point clouds.
The new Vertical Slicing allows users to:
- Measure denivelation
- Assess the quality of the Ground classification, by checking the base of the vertical elements
- Check the mismatch between flightlines, by measuring the strip-to-strip distance before or after Strip Adjustment
CloudStation is a complete software solution for creating and manipulating point clouds from data collected by survey systems such as UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). It allows users to extract, process and display data immediately after flight acquisition. The auto-generation of flight lines and the production of LAS files can be achieved in just a few clicks.
