SOARIZON by Thales has partnered with UAS (unmanned aerial system) consultancy and training provider Consortiq to offer new drone operational support, consultancy and training services to enterprise customers.

The development and running of enterprise drone programmes can be expensive, time-consuming and risky without the right expert guidance. Requirements for safe, efficient and legal drone operations include an in-depth understanding of the regulatory landscape, appropriate governance and operational processes and procedures. SOARIZON and Consortiq aim to remove these barriers for organizations wishing to set up their own drone operations, using their combined in-depth expertise to expedite the process and ensure everything is optimally planned and executed.

Consortiq has a proven track record of providing collaborative support to organisations, enabling them to confidently create a UAS programme framework. The company assists with everything from safety audits and waivers to industry reporting and operations safety case development, and also provides high quality training services including the new A2 CofC (Certificate of Competency) and GVC (General VLOS Certificate) courses.

SOARIZON’s all-in-one digital platform allows organisations to plan, track and store all relevant information in one centralised system; from consistent mission planning, through to maintaining up-to-date archives of flight logs, equipment and risk assessments. It provides a single point of record for all drone operations, complete with workflows to ensure consistency across the whole organisation. As a product of Thales, SOARIZON benefits from expertise in digital security with an established heritage in aviation and aerospace, providing users with absolute data security, full compliance and auditability.

Benjamin Orcan, Partnerships and Innovation Manager at SOARIZON, commented: “Consortiq represents the very highest quality in UAS consultancy services and is at the forefront of some of the most innovative projects in the industry. We are delighted to welcome Consortiq to our ecosystem of industry-leading partners.”

Gareth Beverley, COO of Consortiq, said: “SOARIZON brings significant value, low risk, and an extremely responsive and much needed capability to the industry. Together, our collaboration provides a professional aviation and aerospace capability with expertise in all aspects of unmanned air systems.”

“This alliance will enable our clients to focus on capturing high quality aerial imagery, data gathering and analytics to meet the needs in telecommunications, infrastructure, security, surveillance and other industries and applications. We look forward to working together to make things easier and safer for our clients.”
